Top 5 winter must haves

You ladies ready for another blog entry?! (YAAAYYY! Cue the applause!)
Here's another one of my must haves lists. This one is a little different, it will only be my top 5 and will have clothing and beauty products on it. This list will differ (obviously) from each girl, but these are the ones that I think are winter must haves. I may make a video of this one if anyone would like to see it, just let me know in the comments section! J

  1. Number 1 on my list is a lip butter/ chapstick. I personally like any of the ones in the Nivea line. Pearly Shine, Milk and Honey and the Kiss of Smoothness are my favorite ones. I also like using vaseline when my lips get REALLY dry, this is a lifesaver. Just apply this liberally before bed and your lips are kissably smooth. Another favorite of mine is the EOS lipbalms that come in the weird circle cases (ya’ll know what I’m talking about). I personally like the melon, mint and I think it’s strawberry I can’t really remember what it is haha.
  2. This one isn't a beauty product but I feel like it's a necessity for the winter months up here in Canada. Scarves. Any type of scarf works but I am absolutely in love with big chunky infinity scarves. The smaller the circle the closer it will be around your neck which keeps in extra warmth. I like neutral colors like black, white and grey because they go with anything, but I also like a statement color to really tie an outfit together.
  1. Third on my list is a good pair of boots. I got a pair of boots from Mark's Work Wearhouse before I went to Banff. They're knee high and are lined with fake fur and are definitely worth the price. They will last me many winters to come. I wore them every day when I was in Banff and they were super warm and it was below 0 almost every day we were there and my toesies were nice and warm (which is what I look for in a good boot cause no one likes cold feet). They were a bit on the expensive side, (*cough* $135 *cough*) I think they were on sale when I got them ($110) so defs wait until before or after the winter season because most of their stock will go on sale to make room for new stock.
  2. It's a bit obvious but a nice winter jacket/ coat. Depending on how warm it is I usually wear my coat which is like a peacoat. It's a black button down coat with a hood, now I definitely recommend getting a black one because black goes with everything, but they come in different styles and colors so if you want a bold bright color then I say go for it and purchase a red coat! When it's more on the colder/ rainy side I like to use my snowboard jacket. It keeps you much warmer and dry. I don't remember the brand of it, but if I make a video I'll defs put up the cost and brand and everything.
  3. Last but not least on my list is a beanie/ hat. I usually wear ones with the little puff ball on the end. Loose hats that fall perfectly on your head are perfect for the winter time to keep in warmth and to add a bit of style to your look. I like black ones because they go with everything but you can use this as an opportunity to show case your style and add some flare to it by choosing a pop of color like a red, coral or even a white and if you want to be a bit daring you can get ones that say things on them or you can get one with ears like the cat ones that are going around or other ones, totally up to you!
Well ladies that's all for now, I may add some more must haves to this list if I can think of any more to add. Peace out for now ladies. Happy shopping! xoxo :)
