Vampire Diaries inspired Elena/ Katherine makeup

Well, here it is AGAIN,
Elena/ Katherine inspired Vampire diaries Halloween makeup look.
So, although I don't have the pictures of the steps I will try to go through it with as much detail as I can and maybe add follow along pictures.

Step 1. You're going to start off with priming your face. This will hold your makeup in place for that long night of partying and drunkeness you have ahead of you.

2. Next you're going to use whatever concealer you use (make sure it's a little lighter than your skin tone) and cover up any blemishes you have. Vampires have perfect skin (lucky them).

3. Then you're going to take that same concealer and put it all over your face and blend it in. You don't need a ton of it just use it sparingly we don't want any cake faces.

4. Take a light powder and dust it over your face and neck making sure to blend. BLEND BLEND BLEND. (Key word here is blend)

5. You're going to take a black eyeshadow to contour your cheeks and temples. (Gives a more "I'm dead" look) so make that famous fish face (suck in your cheeks) and apply that in the crook of your cheeks. And don't forget to BLEND it out with the powder so it doesn't look to harsh. Do the same with your temples and if you want you can do it to your neck as well. I didn't but if you want to go all out I ain't stoppin ya!

6. Now take your eyebrow pencil/ powder/ gel and carefully fill in your brows like you normally would. It's okay to be a bit dramatic with your brows. I mean hey, it's halloween. If you don't need to fill in your brows cause God blessed you with a perfect set, then go ahead and skip this step.

7. Now starts the fun part. You're going to take your black eyeshadow again and either an angled brush or a small brush that's a bit pointed on the end. Grab some eyeshadow, be sparingly here cause you don't want to apply too much. Now take the brush and do LIGHT strokes like veins under your eyes. You can criss cross them or do whatever you want and go down as far as you want. It's totally up to you. I only went down to the apples of my cheeks then a bit farther to blend the lines if they looked too harsh.

8. Once you're happy with your veins, take that same face powder you used before and lightly dust over the veins to give it a more natural look, even though there is nothing natural about it.

What are we missing now? Oh right, the eyes!

9. Take your eye primer. I use urban decay eyeshadow priming potion. Probably the best eye primer I've used cause I get oily lids and my makeup stays put all day long.

10. Take that same black you used for contouring and the veins and using a bigger eyeshadow brush, doesn't matter what one, you're going to apply a ton of black eyeshadow. Just keep layering it on until you're happy with how dark or light it is.

Next take your blending brush and blend out any harsh lines you may have created.

11. Once you're happy with how it's blended, take a white eyeshadow and highlight your brow bone and inner corner of your eye. (Inner corner is optional)

12. Take a black eyeliner and line your water line. If you're a bit squeamish about putting something in/ near your eye just skip this step, or apply a bit of the dark eyeshadow just along your bottom lash line.

13. Take your gel/ liquid liner and make a winged line. Can be as dramatic as you want just make sure it's got a wing to it! Haha

14. Curl your lashes and apply your favourite mascara on the top and bottom lashes.

15. If you want you can also add some falsies to make the look more dramatic.

Can't forget about those lips.

16. I used a purple colour but you can use any colour you'd like. Take a lip brush and get some lipstick on it and use that to line your lips. We want a clean line. Once your done with the lip liner you can apply the lipstick. Don't forget to bat the excess off on a tissue, no one likes lipstick on their teeth!

17. Last step! Yay! Take your stage/ homemade fake blood and apply some to your bottom lip, underneath your lip and to the sides of your mouth. You want it messy cause in the Vampire Diaries (and any vampire movie) they're not so nice about drinking your blood. To add some more effect hold the bottle or whatever your using to the sides of your mouth and let it drip down naturally.

Voila! Your Elena/ Katherine Vampire diaries Halloween makeup look is complete. I know it's a lot of steps and you might not get it down perfect the first try, but practice makes perfect. Don't give up!
