Hey ladiiieesss,
Been a while since I've made and entry but I've been so busy working and stuff. I'll try and make a couple more entries when I can. So I decided to write a post on the top 10 beauty products that I love and think all you girls should have in either your makeup kit or just in general!
I'll start this list off with my favorite mascara.
10. Mascara- Now, every girl needs a good mascara in their makeup kit. I've tried a few different types and when I mean a few I mean like 10 different mascaras from 10 different brands if there is that many haha. I usually use drug store type mascaras so I'll start with those. Here's my top 5 mascara brands. #1 is "Benefit Cosmetics" "They're Real" in black. #2 is "Maybeline New York" "One by One Volum' Express" in blackest black. #3 is "Rimmel London" "Scandaleyes" in black. #4 is "Maybeline New York" "Great Lash" in blackest black and very black." #5 is "Maybeline New York" "Illegal Length" in blackest black.
9. Under eye concealer- If you're like me and have dark under eye circles then under eye concealer is a must have in your kit. My go to eye concealer is Garnier Skin Renew Anti-dark circle roller in Light. Now this concealer includes caffeine as well as lemon and mineral pigments. This is a great concealer and is my go to concealer. When you apply under eye concealer you should apply it in a triangle shape under your eyes, it draws light to that area and makes your dark circles appear less noticeable. Now under eye concealer isn't the only way to diminish the appearance of under eye circles. Getting enough sleep, drinking lots of water and taking care of your skin every night will help in the diminishing of under eye circles.

Benefit gift from Sephora
Hello there lovelies!
Just a quick entry here about the free Sephora gift they give you for being a member.
I went into Sephora a few months ago and got my free birthday gift. It was the Benefit Cosmetics pack. It came with the They're Real! mascara and the Watt's Up? highlight. They're both just sample sizes but will last me a while. The mascara is absolutely amazing. It gives your eyelashes length and really helps to open up those eyes. The highlight is subtle enough that you can see it but its not like a crazy highlight or anything.
It may show up more on lighter skin tones however.

I know that the full size of each of these is pretty expensive, but I'm sure you could find the sample size somewhere for cheaper. If any of you ladies happen to try these, let me know what you think of them.
Happy shopping ladies! xoxo
Where I've been
Heeyyyy ladiess!
Hope everyone had a great Christmas, holiday break and New Year! Sorry I haven't made a post in a loooooong time, work has been pretty hectic and then with Christmas I just haven't had time to write a post or do makeup looks. I am so grateful for my new job but I have just been so busy juggling two jobs I haven't really had time to do anything. I'm going to try and work on my blog again in the coming month or so because I want to finish my makeup course, get my certificate and start setting up my portfolio and business. If you ladies would like me to make a video on something I will TRY to make one. I've been putting it off for a while now and I figure I might as well start making them this year.
I purchased a ton of makeup and makeup brushes for my kit/ collection so if you would like to see some makeup looks with the products I purchased then let me know and I'll do my best to do that for you ladies. I also signed up for ipsy, if you don't know what that is it's a website (obvs) where you register and then you get samples in the mail of hair and beauty products. It only costs $14 (for us who live in Canada and $10 for those who live in the US). I got my first glam bag in the mail and am pretty pleased with the products I received. They're a little bigger than sample size, I'll post an entry about the products I got and what they are. Anyways, I think that's all I've got to say right now. I am also down to just one job now so I'll have more time to write entries and do makeup looks and get those posted for you guys. Again I'm sorry for not writing in my blog a lot lately, I've just been super busy and I'll try harder to write more posts and do more makeup looks for you guys.
Happy shopping! XOXO

Top 5 winter must haves
You
ladies ready for another blog entry?! (YAAAYYY! Cue the applause!)
Here's
another one of my must haves lists. This one is a little different, it will
only be my top 5 and will have clothing and beauty products on it. This list
will differ (obviously) from each girl, but these are the ones that I think are
winter must haves. I may make a video of this one if anyone would like to see
it, just let me know in the comments section! J
- Number 1 on my list is a lip butter/ chapstick. I personally like any of the ones in the Nivea line. Pearly Shine, Milk and Honey and the Kiss of Smoothness are my favorite ones. I also like using vaseline when my lips get REALLY dry, this is a lifesaver. Just apply this liberally before bed and your lips are kissably smooth. Another favorite of mine is the EOS lipbalms that come in the weird circle cases (ya’ll know what I’m talking about). I personally like the melon, mint and I think it’s strawberry I can’t really remember what it is haha.
- This one isn't a beauty product but I feel like it's a necessity for the winter months up here in Canada. Scarves. Any type of scarf works but I am absolutely in love with big chunky infinity scarves. The smaller the circle the closer it will be around your neck which keeps in extra warmth. I like neutral colors like black, white and grey because they go with anything, but I also like a statement color to really tie an outfit together.

Makeup essentials
So here's my list of my top 10 makeup essentials. These items are what I think you ladies need to have in your makeup collection. There's tons and tons and tons of different types of makeup that you want or need in your collection, but here's my top 10 that I think every girl should have in her kit.
- Waterproof Mascara- Now this is an obvious one. Make sure that when you are selecting this mascara you get a couple bottles of your favorite one. I know what you're thinking, "but it costs like $14/ bottle" I know, I know. But think about it. If you spend that money now and keep an extra in your kit then you won't have to spend that money later, plus when it runs out you don't have to rush to the store to pick some up. I don't know how many times that's happened to me but it is very annoying, also find a good waterproof mascara for those hot days and if you're having a crying fit and/ or tearing up from a good movie. (This one is a girls' best friend)
- Good foundation/ coverup- This is a must have in your makeup kit. Now finding the right foundation/ coverup is a difficult task. (Check out my 'What to look for when buying coverup/ foundation' post). http://makeupwithnatt.blogspot.ca/2013/11/what-to-look-for-when-buying-coverup.html
- Eyeliner- You want to have a gel eyeliner/ liquid liner to make those beautiful cat eye looks that everyone loves so much. Having both is a good option in my opinion. Both of these give a different look depending on what style you're going for. Gel eyeliner can create a more thick style look because you're using a brush. If you're using a liquid liner this one varies in thickness depending on the style of the brush that it comes with and how you apply it.
